Highlight Pics and Impressions-1stVirtDocMeeting

To start the new IRTG year of the graduate program, doctoral representatives came together for a virtual meeting on March 29, 2021. We welcomed the participants in a new virtual space named Gather.Town. We have created a virtual conference venue in Gather.Town allows us to interact with other people similarly as we would do in person. There were three main areas: poster hall, coffee room with discussion tables and the data blitz room, where all the talks took place. During the data blitz session, it was like a conference in real life; the doctoral avatars took a seat. Each doctoral representative presented their PhD issue and data following by poster sessions. It was a unique scientific journey for everyone and an excellent time for scientific exchange in this virtual space.
