Autumn school 2019- Networking meeting in Heidelberg

Two years ago, in 2017, it was just an idea to bring together the research field of obesity and diabetes. This Autumn, 2019, the networking meeting has been realized. From the 11th to the 12th November the graduate schools 1874/2 „Diabetic Microvascular Complications“ and the IRTG „Obesity Mechanisms“ of the CRC 1052 met in Heidelberg.

All the IRTG students presented their research projects and their research roadmap followed by question and answer sessions. This conference helped the students to get familiar with the other students’ expertise and field of research. Furthermore the meeting allows the doctoral students to build up their own scientific network.
