CRC 1052 online meeting
Dear Project leaders of the 3rd CRC funding period,
We are delighted that our CRC has been extended for a third funding period from July 1st to December 31, 2024. To take the momentum, we would like to meet virtually on June 2nd from 9am to 2:30 pm CET.
This short Kick-Off meeting replaces our spring retreat. We hope that our autumn retreat can be a face-to-face meeting after a long time of talking to our screens!
We are aware of the short notice and want to keep your preparation time to a minimum. However, in addition to important housekeeping points, we want to optimally integrate the new project leaders.
To this end, it becomes important that CRC members familiarize with other projects and to initiate (or continue) collaborations and start the networking. Please find attached the program.
We propose that each project presents only 5-7 minutes with a focus on the first steps/requirements to kick-off the project.
You may consider to include:
- Main hypothesis/ rationale
- Work program (timeline/ important methods)
- Planned collaborations within the CRC (Please use the figure of Collaboration matrix)
- How can CRC groups support the project?
The retreat aims to build and strengthen collaborations between the different CRC projects. The online meeting strategic aims to create smaller task force groups for future meetings (e.g. central mechanisms, microbiome, human intervention, adipose tissue studies).
